Sony asked Gage to develop a loyalty program for store associates who sold Sony Playstation games – from Gamestop to Best Buy. Associates would earn points by taking learning modules on the latest game releases and then were required to take a short quiz to test their retention. Employees would then earn points for their participation which could be redeemed for Sony products.
This project was for the second generation of design, helping to keep pace with marketing trends and to keep attention to an ever fickle group of 16-24 year old game enthusiasts. These design explorations ultimately lead to a complete overhaul of the program.
